    The Year of Home Help

One Gloucestershire resident receives a full year of free, personalised Ellia support, helping them live well at home, maintain their independence, and enjoy companionship and practical help every week.

    The Respite Reward

Each month, a local family or unpaid carer is gifted a whole month of free respite support from Ellia. This gives carers a much needed break and peace of mind, knowing their loved one is in safe, friendly hands.

    The Connection Call

Every month, we surprise isolated or vulnerable neighbours with a special visit and a thoughtfully curated Good Neighbour Goodie Bag. These bags include comforting treats, wellbeing activities and a personal note.

Why the Good Neighbour Fund Matters

The Ellia Good Neighbour Fund is dedicated to improving the lives of older adults, vulnerable individuals and family carers across Gloucestershire. Our initiative helps reduce loneliness and social isolation by providing regular companionship, support and meaningful social contact for those living alone. We offer practical, non-clinical support with everyday errands, making it easier for people to stay independent at home.

Important Information

Anyone in the community can nominate a Gloucestershire resident for the Good Neighbour Fund using our simple online form. Our team reviews nominations regularly and selects recipients based on need and availability.

How does the nomination process work?

Who can benefit from the Ellia Good Neighbour Fund?

The fund is open to older adults, vulnerable individuals, and unpaid carers living in Gloucestershire who would benefit from companionship, practical support, or respite. Anyone can nominate a neighbour, friend, or family member who could use a helping hand.

What types of support does the Good Neighbour Fund provide?

We offer non-clinical, non-personal support such as companionship, help with errands, light household tasks, technology assistance and social outings. Our services are designed to help people stay independent and connected, but we do not provide personal care or medical services.

Nominate a Neighbour

Do you know someone in Gloucestershire who would benefit from a reward? You can nominate a neighbour, friend, or family member who could use extra support, companionship or a well-deserved break. For the Year of Home Help or Respite Reward, please ensure you have their consent before submitting a nomination.

Important:
Ellia provides non-clinical, non-personal support only. We do not offer clinical care or personal care services such as bathing, medication administration or nursing. Our focus is on practical help, social connection and making life at home easier and more enjoyable.

Ellia is a small, local business and not a charity. The gifts and support provided through the Ellia Good Neighbour Fund are fully funded by our business and local sponsorships, not by public donations or charitable fundraising.
