Not everyone drives. Some people never have, some have given up the car, and some can't drive for a while after an operation. Buses don't always go where you need them to, and taxis soon add up.
Your helper is insured to drive you to hospital and GP appointments, the dentist, the shops, a club or a friend's house, and to bring you home again.
Because it is the same helper every time, you are always with someone you know. They can carry the shopping in, put it away and fit in some cleaning or laundry on the same visit.
Every visit is £25 an hour and lasts at least 2 hours.
