Practical help while you get back on your feet
Your helper can get the house ready before you come home, do the shopping, keep on top of the cleaning and laundry, collect prescriptions and run errands. If you cannot drive for a while, they are insured to give you lifts to follow up appointments and the shops.
We do not provide personal care or medical support. Our help is practical and around the home, and it can start small and change as you recover.
Help after a hospital stay is £25 an hour, and each visit lasts at least 2 hours.
What your helper can do

Cleaning and housekeeping
A proper clean of every room, plus laundry and ironing, changing the beds and keeping on top of the kitchen and bathroom.

Deep cleans and decluttering
Spring cleans, moving in or out, and sorting rooms that have become hard to manage, at your pace and without judgement.

Lifts, errands and the garden
Helpers are insured to drive you to appointments, the shops and social events. They can also do the weekly shop, collect prescriptions and tidy the garden.

Companionship and befriending
A chat over a cuppa, a walk, a trip to a café or a local group. Regular company and outings to look forward to.
